Hello, I'm Geraldine
I created my Reiki practice from a deep belief in the power of positive energy, compassion and taking time to reconnect with ourselves.
For me, Reiki is about creating a safe, peaceful space where you can step away from the busyness of everyday life, quieten your mind and simply be.
Reiki is often described as the channelling of natural life energy. The word Reiki comes from Rei, meaning Universal Life Energy, and Ki, meaning opening. I love the idea of Reiki as a key to opening ourselves to the energy that surrounds us.
I believe that positive energy can support self-empowerment and that sometimes we all need a little space to breathe, reset and come back to ourselves.
My practice is guided by four values that are very important to me: compassion, integrity, trust and positive energy.
A little oasis in nature
I’m incredibly fortunate to offer Reiki from my beautiful wood cabin in Skibbereen.
Set high above the valley and surrounded by nature, the cabin is a peaceful little oasis away from the noise and demands of everyday life. The views across the valley, the trees and the surrounding countryside create a naturally calming environment — somewhere you can slow down and allow yourself to be looked after for a while.
I created this space because I wanted Reiki to feel like more than simply an appointment. I wanted it to feel like time for you.
A chance to exhale.
A chance to reconnect.
A chance to leave the outside world at the door for a little while.
More then a reiki session
Alongside individual Reiki sessions, I also offer experiences that combine Reiki with other relaxing and intuitive practices, including sauna sessions and Angel Card/Energy Card readings.
These can be wonderful ways to create even more space for relaxation, reflection and connection.
I also offer distance Reiki sessions via video call, so you can experience my support wherever you are.
